OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

navywife or mmorales!  Be sure to start a division discussion group up top for 152.  That way, others in that division can find you (only one group per division please).  Stay on this main board too as we N4Moms veterans will be passing out lots of info for you all.  Welcome to all of the new members of this group!

Good morning all!

Happy Friday scraps, graphics, comments

Good Morning ladies!   I will be back on here later today.  We just bought a new house and have our inspection today.

Hello everyone my Sailor is Ship 04 DIV 813! We thought he was going to be in the May 11 PIR but he ended up in 5/18. At least I can start planning our trip! I got a short but sweet note on the back of letter! So great to hear from him! See you all at graduation!

FTLW, Happy Anniversary!  It's funny how that date always sticks in our heads.  My sailor left for BC on October 25, 2010.

Hi sjtina, good to see you again.

Hello. I want to introduce myself as a veteran mom who is here to help out in the 800 divisions. I see that there is a discussion for 813, so that is where I will be.

Best of luck to all your SRs. You will love this group.

Yep, Ditto what Jessica said.  Our sons started in the same PIR group...mine was asmoed (setback) after being there 5 weeks, so PIRed a week later.  With all of the holidays that Jessica's and my sons had in there...bootcamp was V E R Y long!  :-)

Comment by diannep on March 29, 2012 at 8:44pm

Yep, the nice handwriting....I laughed when my son was at bootcamp and I recieved that first letter--which such good penmanship---where did that come from??  Those letters are such treasures (they can start writing to you all when they have been there about 2 weeks...first mail received by them is also after about two weeks....on a Sunday...held at the base post office until the recruit mail petty officer is trained).  Because once in A School, they have their cell phones again and back to texting/calling (which is wonderful!).  So keep those letters in a very special place!

AuburnMom:  Are you the War Eagle kind of Auburn?  If so....WAR EAGLE!  Both my hubby and I went to Auburn...many moons ago!  :-)

Comment by FireTeamLeaderWife aka FTLW on March 29, 2012 at 8:08pm

I was so busy...I forgot to post that today was the day my son arrived at RTC one year ago...wow.

Thank you to flgirltwo for starting the group!
