Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

My SR called me just to say that he's calling me again tomorrow because he forgot to remind his RDC! That will be his 5th phone call home within a week and half! He's getting spoiled & definitely spoiling me with hearing his voice 4 days in a row!!

VintageCK,

Your hotel should be showing the livestream of the PIR somewhere on their premises or if you bring a laptop, your family members can watch this livestream in your hotel room~~

Taylorb,

Sorry I can't help you with an exact time, but I do believe they have 3 Chows.  And so many divisions (about 80) at RTC at the same.....  Just have your phone charged and ready!

mrboysmom,

Glad you will have your son back home soon to hug and hold.  May our God give him clear direction on where His path will lead him next!

I have a question that I hope someone will answer quick! Around what time is Chow? My SR said he would try to call around that time but I'm too sure when that is exactly!

Hello all, I am signing out since my SR had called to inform that they will be home in 2wks from now. My SR got DQd and there wasn't another job that was worth to take the place of the job DQd from. So my SR made to choice to just come home and not take a job that my SR would not like or hate to take the place of the one lost. My SR has the option to come on back in 12 months if the desire is still there or if nothing else can fill in the void like the Navy would have.

Thank you for your prayers, support and sharing your SR with me, blessings, mrboysmom

Just got a call from my SR! He was SIQ yesterday so he couldn't call, but made it up tonight before bed! We talked like he hadn't been gone for a month. He said he's calling again tomorrow so div 192, be by your phones!!
