calimom:  I had the same issue with the last 4 digits when my son was up there---different on his return address.  When I asked him why, he said, oh, I don't know.  Hmmm....but he got every letter I sent and I used the zip he wrote on the form letter.  ellen gave you the link below showing the ship addresses.  The mail WILL find them with proper Ship/Division number on the letters!

Good Morning!

calimom, The last four digits of the zip code aren't as important as the first five. The first five digits of 60088 are strictly for the Naval Station. His mail will find him with the street address, ship and division number.

Here is a link to check your mailing address for the ships at RTC. Don't forget to add the division # after the ship #.

Seems a happy Thursday!!
Got my first letter too Div 241.
Last Saturday his mom got the phone call,I was so anxious for my letter.
He says being there is so stressful but he'll do his best.

Question? The last 4 digits on the zip code are different that the one on the formal letter. I've been writing using the one on the formal letter.  Did anyone notice that also? I hope he gets the letters I've been sending.

We got our 1st letter today!! DIV 242.  Said time goes by fast and everyone gets along good.  I feel better today, was worried after the Saturdays phone call because he sounded tired and a little down.
