Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No letter for me either, pics posted on Navy Facebook page though. Might see my son lol, his siblings say no. They all look alike. I Miss him !!! ❤️

Oh it would be so wonderful to get a letter. This week without him has been so rough. My friend who has been through navy bootcamp before says not to expect one until next week because the mail system there is a little iffy. But since some of you have gotten some letters I hope mine will come too! Blackbelt that would be great to get a letter today for you!

What a surprise it would be to receive our first letter from him today on his bday! If not, I know it will come soon. Enjoy those letters everyone! Who would've thought in this day and age that a good old fashioned hand written letter would be so appreciated?!!

Praise the Lord! I got a letter too! He sounds great and I think he misses us as much as we miss him. I feel so much better now. I'm sure your letters will be coming soon!
