Christine:  It is rare that we read anything bad about Navy Lodge.  Usually "good stuff" posted about it!  Not a fancy place, but clean and sufficient, with a very nice staff is what we have been told.  Price is right too!

Ooops!  Was thinking of the wrong PIR group!  Yes, Selah....I believe that your division should be close to finishing up Training Week 5 this week, into Training Week 6 next week.  They do BattleStations usually on Training Week/Day 6-5/

I finally booked my room at the Navy Lodge!  Nothing like procrastinating!  I had read one bad review by a Navy mom which scared me off.  Since then it has been nothing but praise so we'll see.  I am so excited!

Are we in Week 5 (Firefighting)?

diannep,

Glad your area is safe from Arthur and will of course, pray for your son's travels to Daytona Beach and all the others potentially affected by Arthur--Lord, please downgrade Arthur so many can be safe!  In Jesus' Name, Amen~~

Greetings to All!

They are pretty nice coins and they'll collect many over thier long Naval career. My hubby has a bucketful from his many encounter's over the years. :)

My son doesn't normally collect coins as such, but I think this will have special meaning to it!  I think its cool looking!  Something he'll have for years from now!!

Comment by Christine on July 2, 2014 at 12:54pm

I ordered my son's ships challenge coin also.  I received it a while ago already.  It is really cool!  I hope he is happy that I got it. He's not really into collecting stuff but this will have a special meaning for him.
