WOW!!! You Navy moms/wives/fiances -- HAVE THE POWER!!!  As you can see, my son is Division 936...so guess what????  I got a call!!!!!!!  He is back on full duty and set to graduate on time! I cannot tell you how relieved he sounded and how relieved I am.  This was a huge weight lifted.  Thanks again to all for your words of prayer and encouragement.  I am so happy that I have someone who understands to share my fear and joys.  Happy calls to Div 936 moms/wives/fiances/girlfriends etc....

Emi - Praying for you and your son as well.  This could be any one of us.  And the not knowing is terrible.  I would make the call to the Red Cross as well.  We were told that this is the avenue if need be.

Thanks everyone!! I am trying to keep positive thoughts and just hope to hear "any" news soon so that I can stop being so anxious about it.  I think the matter of having "no idea" is what bothers me the most.

Emi,

When you feel "out of control", know that our God is in control!!  Hope you will know for sure soon~~

Hello All!!

Emi on the bright side as the saying goes...No news is good news and he's probably back to full duty. But if you can't bare to wait for an update you might try the American Red Cross and see if they can assist in reaching out to the medical staff at GL for an update. As a prior Command Ombudsman they were always our go to when something like this happened. Keep in mind that if he ended up in a hospital you would have definetly heard via a call or todays NAVY is very lax. Praying you get good news soon!
