Alex's_Mom:  Yes, he should be taking it again tomorrow.  If he passes it, not sure he can call you then, probably not....most likely would be making the I'm a Sailor call on Tues in that case.  Isn't he in 245/246?  Prayers that he does well!

Just got call from daughter Ship 12 Div 247. She barely passed PFA. Some did not and will do again tomorrow. 247 did a bad yesterday and had to do push-ups on pavement. Scratched hands. All she wants at Liberty is spicy food, a big juicy hamburger and all the time she wants to eat it. One happy momma right now.

Question, Will Alex be retaking his PFA's in the morning? And if he passes will he call me again tomorrow or after BS on Tuesday? Or if he happens to fail it again (hopefully he can pass) will he call again and say he failed?

I'm not sure what to expect.

Also, Chris, since your SR wife is attending Great Lakes for A school, you would have Friday afternoon into evening and all day Saturday and Sunday with her!  No overnights, but that is alot of time to spend with her~~

@jaysmom thank you so much! I wish I would've known about this page sooner.

Chris,

I am praying you can make it to PIR to see your SR wife proudly marching in with her division after her two months of transitioning into a United States Navy Sailor!!  PIR is the most special celebration in a Sailor's life.  None of the other accomplishments she has will even compare or be attended by loved ones.  I really hope you can logistically make it to be there for her~~

Blessed Sunday!!

Chris glad to see *might not*. What do you think about waiting till after BS if you do not have a diffinate decision about not making PIR? You may not want your wife emotionally distracted during BS. Talk to her when you get the call Wed.

Chris you should go , you have the chance to be with her and spend some time before she go to A school ,you know you're lucky that you have the chance and opportunity to be with her on her special day .
