navygirlfriend:  They know how long they have to talk during calls and it varies for each phone call.
Your letters should get to him.

Good Morning All !

aww thank you , so we just need to wait now so we can book our flight to IL . do they tell him how many minutes he's allowed for calling ? cuz earlier we talked about 9minutes and he keep saying he needs to go already so some recruits can also call , and he said he got in trouble writing letters is it possible that he'll still get my letters for him ?

navygirlfriend:  It is true that they update their guest lists about a week or so before PIR.  Just know that if a person is not on the list, they will not be allowed into PIR.  Hope that it all works out for you!

For those attending PIR, do you have a military member in your group who will be dressed in military uniform?  If so, there is a chance that you and your military member may be offered seating in the VIP section of the bleachers.  This is by invitation only once you arrive at PIR Hall.  The catch is this:  They want the group to look sharp and therefore will eliminate any families if a member is in jeans, dressed casually, etc.  They are looking for sharp dressers and especially those in military uniform.

Just a heads up that if you want to be considered for the VIP section of seating, consider dressing for PIR in "sharp" form!  It is not only families with a military member in uniform that they are looking for....because they like for this section to be "full", they may also select families dressed sharply, but who don't have a military member with them.  We understand that there is good viewing from these seats....so consider this when you decide what to wear for PIR!

Just got my 1st call, DIV 246. Haven't heard his voice since May 21. He sounds good.
I was able to hold it together during the call but, cried like a baby when we hung up. Still so good to finally hear from him & I'm so grateful he is doing well.
