~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their Sailors! Do they have a list of Sailors who grauated available anywhere?
Good Morning All ! Hope many of you are already in the PIR hall! Enjoy this very special day!
Sarah,
I believe the mom needs to call the Public Affairs Office at 847-688-2405, explain the situation, give them her original gate password, then they will provide her with tomorrow's password. On the other hand, if she is taking a shuttle to PIR, then she doesn't need the gate pass. It is only necessary for vehicles who are driving in and parking at RTC. Here's Sarge's cell number to schedule him to pick her up at her hotel. 847-212-0246.
hello everyone, well I just now got into my room so I missed seeing everyone at Sarges. The travel did not go a planned, the traffic in Chicago is horrible. I come from a small town of 2000 people, we only have two stoplight in the entire county and they are 30 miles up the hill from our town. Anyhow hope to meet everyone tomorrow at PIR.
Thanks so much everyone. Mommy and baby are still doing great :) My mom has pneumonia and is still in ICU but my hubby says she looks much better this evening and I was able to talk to her on the phone. We sent lots of pics of the new baby to her and she is loving them :)
Traveling mercies to all who are on their way to their Sailors' PIR!! You will all have the most awesome time!!
Hello All!!
"Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
and for His wonderful works to the children of men!"
Psalm 107:8
Lala,
CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful baby granddaughter Eastyn!!
Also, prayers for Loran's treatment and for your mom in ICU~~
