hi everyone :) i have gotten letters the past two days .they are not as long of coarse but i love hearing from him every day :) im sad though b/c we should be getting our "im a sailor" call next friday and i will be out of town where there is no service. so im praying by the grace of God i will get a peak of service at the time he calls :) . one can only pray lol. they are performing today :) i can't wait for pictures to come up! im so excited. he did tell me he has lost a lot of weight. i hope hes not too skinny :P . he keeps telling me in all his letters, "you can't be kissing on me at the PIR" " not shouting my name during the PIR" lol silly stuff like that, i want to write him and ask him if he remembers who his wife is? miss shy girl here lol! im so excited!!! less than two more weeks!!!! i can't wait! ahh. tomorrow we are driving to salt lake to look for my sister a wedding dress and i am going to look for a dress for myself :) are you all as excited as i am :D my cheeks hurt from smiling !
OhWendy. I sent you a message back....did you get it? I have no date for 229 yet.
ruzymommy: Got a reply from you so know you got the message now.
No word yet on BS for Div 229? diannep- I sent you a message to see if you have heard from anyone.
cherylhubb: Just messaged you the date I have for that division.
Good morning to all! I got 2 letters yest. as well. 1 was addressed 2 me & the other was addressed 2 my youngest son. He's 9. He was so happy his older brother had written him personally. He ran off w/it so quickly & said "i'm putting this up in a special place". My son went to church on Sunday & said it was great. He said he cried so much but was happy. He's not much on crying but he has already told me that he will be balling his eyes out when he sees us. Let's just hope I can hold it together. He said the division is workin together great. They r making so much progress. He's also excited about playing @ the graduations today & nxt wk. He wants me 2 bring him some Oreo's & Fruit By the Foot so bad. Made me laugh & now I know he's still my little baby boy.LOL. He's still so happy I write him everyday. He said he's got ALOT but he loves each & every 1 of them. He's alo so happy about being able 2 write more & says he'll miss sleep just as I have just 2 write me bk. I couldn't be a more proud mother. It's sounding like I did a pretty good job w/this 1. Thank goodness he didn't turn out like me @ that age (I was 16 when I had him).LoL.
My son mentioned 1 mom took a picture of his Facebook page & sent it 2 him & he asked that I do the same so he could see what all I've been posting about him. I'm said nope..not going to happen. You will just have to find out when your done. Payback for some of the pranks he's been pulling in my letters. He knows how to get me crying so he made sure to add in a few special things.
I'm patiently waiting on my ribbon order 2 come in as well. It lets me know I'll get 2 c him so much sooner than I want 2 think about.
Does anyone know when they're Battle Station day is for 937? If so please inbox it to me. I've asked but not sure when & if he's received my letter yet.
Thanks so much for the ribbon order Wendy :-)
ruzymommy- I can just imagine how that "baby division" must loot to them. I bet it is super encouraging to see how far they have come in such a short time. It soulns like she is super excited for PIR and is doing very well. Such a great letter!!!
