For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by ruzymommy(Ship2/Div937) on July 13, 2012 at 8:09am: good morning all! We did get 2 letters yesterday! Now I know what you mean about stalking the mail box! I am usually at work but I had yesterday off. So about every 2 minutes I would look out the window to see if the flag was down. (I had mail going out).

She sounded wonderful! She knows (like us) that the end is coming soon! She said last week they got 'the baby division' in so they are sharing their compartment. She said they reminded her of how her division was like only 4 weeks ago! She has enjoyed live fire the best so far. On her letter dated 7/6 she mentioned right away that 'today is the end of hell week'. She said on the same letter that they had pictures taken today. She said she was ablt to put her contacts in and put on some makeup. She said she only had like 2 minutes to put the makeup on but OMG it felt so amazing! She told me to stop sending pics...she's running out of room! LOL! Have a great week-end all!

I got an order last night for 7-20 and shipped them priority mail today :-) So you are good time wise. I got an order from a Wendy today and i am guessing that it was from you? Hope some letters arrive in those mailboxes today!
Has anyone received any more BattleStations dates for this group? I only have 937 so far. Of so, please don't post here (not allowed), but friend request/private message them to me for the schedule. Thanks!

I did leave some homemade cookies in the box for our mailman. I thought it was the least I could do after stalking him for 7 weeks lol.
