OmahaRudy - yea - I'm so glad you got the questionnaire back...aren't they fun to read?!!!!  And a letter.....I'm so happy for you.   Do you ever remember a time when getting mail was so exciting?  I sure don't.  So I guess our next thing to look forward to will be the pictures from the 7/13 PIR....hopefully we will get to see a picture of our SR's!!!!

I got the questionnaire back and a letter! One of the questions asked for names of friends, he listed about a dozen and added "and more." he also commented on how much he will miss the people in his division when they go their separate ways. I am thrilled he's made so many great friends.

He said they are drilling a lot since they start performing this Friday. It sounds like he is enjoying all they are learning.

I'm so happy because he's so happy. I think now he's getting a little nervous about A school. One step at a time. But, as he said, they're over the hump. Yeah!

The Southwest sale is for the Fall so those having August thru December PIRS will be in good shape.  The rest of us are stuck with - "pay alot" flights.

Any one here not booked their flights yet? I just saw an advertisement on TV for a Nationwide Sale at Southwest Airlines. They are running a special for one way flights for only $69.00. You have to book at Southwest.com and the promotion is called their "Nationwide Sale" they are book flights all over the country for that price. Check and see if an airport close enough to you flies Southwest. They don't have a charge for 2 checked bags and they don't charge a change fee if you have to change your tickets. You would only have to pay the difference in the cost of the flight. This is a great deal and they fly into more than one airport in the Chicago/Milwaukee area. Here is the link http://www.southwest.com/

Lorimae, I am working on PIR ribbons and other items for your group now. I am actually making one of the tote bags right this minute. I should have all the items made and in the mail by early next week and you should all have them by Friday. I do ship them out each day as I get them completed so some of them will be received before others. Please let me know how you like them when your order arrives :-)

Lala - good morning.  Yes, it is getting so close and so exciting...every week through whole journey has brought new feelings.  I'm so glad to be here now but the journey has truly been an incredible experience.  I'm excited for PIR and can't wait to get my ribbons.  Do you have an idea of when I should expect them?

Good morning everyone..... you are getting soooooooo close :-)

Remember, ladies, no posting of BattleStations dates on this site.  You can private message them though.

Comment by diannep on July 11, 2012 at 8:07am

OmahaRudy:  The following week would be the time for your division.  900 divisions usually go "a certain day" of PIR week.

Yes, still collecting BattleStations dates from this group, so please friend request/message me if you get one!

Good morning all!
