Congrats to 817!  Did 229/230 go last night?

Congrats all.  My SR will not be graduating on Friday, but I will go up to try to see him.  He will try again Friday morning to pass.  Can't wait to hear how all in 229 did.

For those of you with sailors staying in GL for A School, count on them being able to leave base, after getting moved from RTC, at about 3:00ish.

We went to the visitors center and wasted some time there waiting for him to call, but as soon as that call came we went outside. You can hear all the groups marching to the gate from their ships and watch them march to the gate.

It is a distance to the gate from their ships and you can hear them coming for a long time, the anticipation as to whether my son was in the group that we could hear was almost as much fun as waiting for them to march into PIR.

Wendy:  Messaged you and I know you got info on FIT also.  Hang in there....not an easy time for any of you all, but so glad you will continue plans to get to PIR.  Either to celebrate his PIR, or to get that 2-hour visit to motivate/encourage him!

Prayers!

Good Morning.  Well, I got a call last night, but it wasn't the one I was expecting.  My son did not pass the Final PFA so he will not be graduating on Friday.  He only got to talk for 2 minutes. He said that he has 3 tries, but that was all he said and had to hang up.  So I have been told they go to Fit Div if they don't pass before Friday. Any details out there would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats to 937 and hoping to hear from 229/230/817 this afternoon!

Good Morning all!  I was not able to get on here last night...but yes, I received the I'm a Sailor call!  It was great to talk to her!  Like others have said, she was on the phone for a couple of minutes and then you could hear someone yelling behind them.  She told me "Mom, I have to go, I will call you back."  She did call back and by that time, I made it to my husband's work so we were both able to talk to her!  Really looking forward to Friday!  Congrats to all!
