Looks like Div 229/230 are making calls.  I just got a call from my son.  He said they are finishing up 2/5 now.  He got his wisdom teeth taken out on Sunday, but doing okay.  He sounded great.  Said they got their first flag- Scholastic Flag. He said they are slowly coming together as a team, but thinks they will be great.  They had 45 minutes of IT last night because some of the guys wouldn't stop talking.

Good Morning ladies!  I've been off of here for a couple of days.  We had a very busy Sunday.  My husband just decided that he wanted to power wash our deck (the previous owners had painted it, :( ) so we were doing that all day.  Then yesterday I had to take my mom to a doctor's visit, then lunch and shopping.

Hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday.

OmahaRudy, how cool is that!  Great picture.

Lala, hope all is dry for you now.

Good Morning Dianne and ladies!

Good morning, Lala.  Hope you all can say "goodbye" to T.S. Debby today and get back to a normal sunny beach vacation!

Good morning everyone!

Thanks Omaha, we think so too :-) We actually had a break in the rain this morning and were able to lay out by the pool for a couple hours. We just saw on the news that is has stalled again and is now expected to head back across Florida and off the east coast. What a crazy storm!

Comment by OmahaRudy on June 25, 2012 at 1:17pm

Look at that RAIN and rivers I mean roads! You need pontoons instead of tires.

Lala, your Sailor is aDORable.

Today I got to hear the Secretary of the Navy speak at the naming of the USS Omaha, a new littoral combat ship that should be christened in 2016.

Someday very soon our SRs will be proudly representing the U.S. Navy at events :)

This is my Sailor standing in the flooded street in front of our vacation house this afternoon. The weather here is crazy, lots of flooding, tornadoes, wind, power outages and expecting 12 more inches of rain. We are hoping no one is injured and the storms head back out to sea soon.

Hi all, just checking in....been participating a local Relay for Life event for the past 24 hrs. Im very tired but wanted to check in and see what i've missed. The bass saga continues...lol. the singing bass fish is to funny especially since my husband and were just talking about that fish on Fathers Day...our SR had given him one of those for Fathers Day when he was little..ha ha

omg, my son had one of those years ago, it was so funny lol.Haven't seen one in years.

Good morning everyone, vacation is off to a good rainy start :-( Expecting high winds and 5 inches of rain today. Hoping it moves out sooner than later. At least my Sailor is here, we may have to go find a mall or something inside to do :-)

Good Morning all!

Loriemae, our sons definitely know each other! I LOVE that idea. It is wonderful hearing them sing, isn't it? That's funny we have people thinking about bass, the fish, and bass, the instrument, and our sons aren't either of those.
My son also said that the room inf which they sing is enormous and very "dead" so they are all singing very loudly trying to hear themselves. I'm certain by the time they sing at their graduation they will be wonderful.
