I just got off the phone with my son! Oh, it was wonderful to hear his voice. He has a cold :( and blisters :(  but has met some great guys.

He passed his swimming test :) and is studying and standing watch a lot -- so not much sleep.

The choir practices Saturdays from 0730 - 1130. he said they don't sound so good right now, but he's sure they will. They will sing at two graduations before theirs and at theirs.

Like so many others have said, the letters and pictures are great! Keep sending them to your SRs. It means a lot.

Happy, happy day!

cheryl:  Hmmm....on the tetanus shot.  Unless there is a suitable "substitution" for that, not sure what they will do. Go on the "no news is good news" at this point!

I had a really long day yest. & didn't get a chance 2 get on here & update every1. After seeing every1's emails yest. I couldn't wait 2 get home. I got 2 letters from my son ship 2 div. 937. He said he was up 4 50hrs straight. He ch'd in on 5-29-12. He said the beds suck, he said they hot (IT) intensive training a lot, he got 12 shots & they r uring really bad, his "dogs b barking all the time", he's in the band, they shld b calling from now till the 24th, he had no idea how much he was going 2 miss every1 @ home, & I guess there is a question if they r going 2 let him stay or not because he's allergic 2 the tetnus shot.

Does any1 have any know or have any information on if he cld get kicked out if he can't have the tetnus shot? I'm no quite sure why this is coming up now.

Also, he is going 2b staying in Great Lakes for A school. He said that we wld get 2c after graduation 4 a little while but that was it. I was wondering if any1 knew anything on this? I thought that he might get day weekend visits on Sat. & Sun. &  he had 2 fully ck in Sunday night?

I hope if every1 hasn't gotten a letter yet that u get 1 soon. It is such a blessing 2 hear their voice even if it's only on paper.

Hi Ladies, I haven't been on in a few days, but wanted to report that I got my first 2 letters in the mail this Wednesday. So excited to hear from her. She was more homesick than anything. Told me she missed and loved me like 13 times. She did share that they kept them up all night the first night. I just wanted to let everyone know she is ship 2, div 937 and said they will get to call out on Friday, which is today. So I have my cell attached to my hip and waiting anxiously to hear her voice. Thanks Ladies and God Bless.

I think I caught a little fairy on here in the middle of the night leaving goodies  on group walls lol. Her name is FTLW :-) I would ask why you are up so late but it is 3:34 am here lol and I have not been to bed. I had to pack and clean so much to get done. I will be traveling all day today but I will check in with my cell phone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. FTLW get some sleep woman :-)

Just a 'lil business!

Last names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on the N4M’s website. ( N4M’s Community Guidelines and OPSEC clickable link).

So, if your usename contains your last name and it is the same as your Recruit/Sailor, you will need to change it. If it is different, it is still not a good idea as this is a public site and anyone may read the posts…they do not have to be a member. That is your choice though.

We still need Division Discussions for 227 and 230 if there is anyone on here with those Divisions. (I can post a "how to" if you would like to start them)

OR

227 may join with 228; and 230 with 229 as they are Brother divisions and train together. The creators of the existing Discussions may just add there Brother division to the title if you like.
