he said that there are 15 other SR's there also heading to the NUKE Program, hoping to room with some he has met, once they get to Charleston.

Good that he is over the infection and hopefully immune for the rest of the time! Yes 29 days, it will be here before we know it! Hope to see you at the meet and greet.

yes Lisa its such a great relief to hear all is going well, getting over a nasty sinus infection, but very upbeat! Lost his voice for a few days :) He also said time is going quickly, push/rush DIV...29 days and counting!

Thank you CorysNavyMom! We have to keep telling ourselves they are okay. On the bright side, I am hoping we all get a letter by today or tomorrow, so maybe we can read how they are doing. Hopefully your son is feeling better and is in better spirits. :.)

lisarobin...hang in there! He's ok! They would call if he got put in the med unit or was delayed...he must of been on watch. There is always someone on watch when they make those phone calls...but i can only imagine how you feel because I would feel the exact same!!!

Im struggling because I know Cory wasnt happy when I talked to him last Weds. Now to not have heard from him again I just need to have him tell me by phone or by letter that he's doing better! So hard just not knowing.

Ochaos that was beautifully said! I did receive my call from my son and am very thankful for any contact I get with him. But I know that I will not always be that lucky. This site really helps with the times that you do not receive contact. Someone is always here to share their experiences joyous or otherwise. We are always here for each other. Thanks everyone! And have a great evening!
