Got a phone call tonight...it was so good to just hear his voice.  He sounded good and said he had made some really good friends.  He is ship 09 div 248 and said they were coming together really good.  Just soooo relieved!

Yes I am hoping he just had watch. Amberrose flew in Friday night to see me and we wondered if maybe he volunteered for watch since he knew she would be flying that evening. Sounds good even if it's not true. :.)

Thank you diannep, sometimes you just need to hear that(or is this case read it).

lisarobin:  Remember...no news is good news.  If he had been asmoed for any reason, he HAS to call in front of Navy personnel (scripted call).  But I know....you just need to hear his voice.  Don't worry...it will happen soon for you all!  You guys are doing a great job running this group!  Keep up the good work!

I haven't been posting much in awhile. Just reading everyone else's posts. Amberrose and I have not gotten the long call yet and most of the my son's div called this past weekend. I'm trying not to worry but wondering if he is in trouble or hurt or it's just not his time yet. Please don't take my post wrong. I am so happy for all of you that have gotten a call. I have just been depressed and not wanting to be a downer for everyone else.
