Thank you bobbie and I am praying hard that she can make it through all of this. I told her this is the hardest part of the military is Boot Camp. If you can make it through this you can make it through anything

Creative....I know how scarey this is! My son is or was also on light duty. He has ingrown toe nails and they did surgery to remove them. However, he has very wide feet and so I just pray he's better and can or has gotten off Light duty. He wasnt very happy about not being able to march and such with his div.

I'll keep her in my prayers and all the other men/women who are in fear of having a medical issue that could possibly send them home...or even delay their PIR.

So I got my first real call from my daughter today also. She has been on light duty due to knee problems. She faces possibly being sent home due to this. She has never had knee problems ever until now. I am upset to say the least. She returns to medical on Friday and if they put her on Light Duty again for minimum of 7 days then she is out. I am just worried about her health wise. I am hoping to hear something very soon about the outcome. Please keep her in your prayers and anyone else who is going thru any medical issues at the moment. I will keep everyone updated as I get the info.

We also got the first real call from our son.  He called me and I immediately conferenced my husband who was at work and our other son, who lives in Nashville, in and we had a 4-way call.  It was so wonderful.  He too is ready for this to be finished and move on.  Hopefully everyone else is getting their call.  This call sure brightened my day :-)!!!

Finally received that first real call from my son about an hour and a half ago!!  We passed the phone around, so Dad and Sister got to talk to him too... 35 minutes worth!  It was great, to say the least.  He reports that everything is going well and he is ready to finish up and move on (29 days to go, though)!  It's been 4 weeks and 1 day since he left, so maybe those of you who have also been waiting that long will get your calls very soon.  Hoping...
