I finally got my first letter just a few minutes ago!!! It wasn't a form letter, just his own words which was so much more special! He is doing well and sounds like he is in good spirits! Said they got their first uniforms (blue camos) and they got the military ID's and that its been mostly processing paperwork.

This is the happiest day!

Aaron's Mom:  My son is an Air Rescue Swimmer too.  I wonder if they are getting to know each other?

Hi Kathy!  Our sons are on the same ship/division.  Were your boys expecting to stay together in boot camp, or was it just a fluke?

Aaron's mom:  Our sons were there at the same time!  I see that yours PIRed in Mar 2010....mine did in Feb 2010.  So great that you are on here to help the ladies through as you are supporting your nephew.  I am so sorry about your sister.  My sons lost their dad/my hubby when they were middle teens....so  hard but I'm so proud of them for moving on.  Not an easy thing to do, as you all well know.

Welcome to the group!  Cute profile pik and I sure recognized those bleachers in the background!  :-)

CorpsmanMom:  Absolutely not on too many letters!  Send them ALL!  They live for these and there is no problem getting too many!  Welcome to the group!
