Cory also says A school is SOOO much better! He's making good friends and really sounds like he's enjoying himself. He is heading to Six Flags tomorrow with his bunk mate and a couple other guys via taxi. He sure sounds good.

Today is moving day for us here in Michigan.

Miss you all.

Tonya thank you so much for sharing.  You have a way of putting into words what we all feel.  My Sailor is also my son...but the pride that comes through in your blogs and pictures capture the pride I have in him too.  Cherish that little Ryver...they grow so quickly and some day that same pride you have in your husband for his service to his country you may be back here sharing for your son.  God bless all our troops and God bless your family for serving....as Navy families we all serve!

I'm so sorry I didn't make it to the M & G... couldn't get the family out of Gurnee Mills ;-)  I have truly treasured all of the help ( thanks clarkedu for all your help with my late start!) from so many people.  Couldn't have had the wonderful experience we did without all of you.  Our Sailor is now off to HM Corpsman school in San Antonio.  Wishing all of our grads well, and all of our moms peace and pride!

I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet you all. I ended up having to work while I was up there. I did run into a few of you on PIR day! It was such a great ceremony. I was disappointed my son didn't have time to stop and say hello after Liberty was called he had to run back to his ship. We ended up meeting him at Nex.   If you move the group please keep me posted. :)

I was finally able to jot down some thoughts on bootcamp and I thought some of you might enjoy reading it since I'm sure it will reflect your own thoughts. Here's a link to my blog. :o) Miss talking to you guys on a daily basis, but so glad to be over the boot-camp hurdle!
