Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yay so happy for everyone getting there calls! hope to hear from mine next week.or sooner. I have a question. My SRs little brother is coming he is 8 does he need anything to get in.  I dont think he mom can find his birth certificate. Is that bad? Is there a way around it if they have to have it?

(ship 11 div 244) finally got the "I'm a sailor" call and can't wait till next friday when boot camp will finally be over and move on to A-school atleast we can have contact with them then. So proud of my son and he sounds so grown up now.

Ok, I have to remove the BattleStations schedule up top now.  N4Moms rule now that no Battlestations dates can be posted on here.  But I will use the  "Send Message to Group" prompt to send it out to you all so you have it.  Just don't post any dates here.

Also, go up in the BattleStations discussion group above and remove any posts you put with dates.  I can't do that...can only delete mine.  Thanks, ladies!
