Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My daughter will be in CTI, Monterey, CA and knows the 3 others (2 females, 1 male) going too.   She is so excited!!

Yes, yesterday was a blessing that the senior division came through and got the phones because of the bad connection area where Amberrose was. He then got to call today and talk for 40 minutes! We can't be there at all times although we try! Don't let the gf feel bad. There will be another time.

Just glad you both got to talk to him! My sons gf missed his call twice now. It breaks my heart for him because I know he misses her so much and I'm sad for her too!

Hello CorysNavyMom! I am the mother and Amberrose is my future daughter in law! She was so sweet to merge the call and add me so that we could both talk! It was so wonderful to finally talk to him. That was the first time he had a real call where he wasn't just asking for info. He sounded wonderful and had alot of stuff to share. I am on cloud 9! :.)

I think I an a bit slow...Amberrose and lisarobin...how are you both connected to the same SR? Just curious. I know both my mom and I are on here. I'm thinking girlfriend/wife and mom?
