I have to tell you all...so far the highlight of this trip to PIR was seeing Ryver go up to the microphone at the meet and greet and saying "I'm so proud of my dad!" I literally started crying. He was so cute!

It was nice hearing from all the division families, but especially division 11/243's sailor Greer and Hemme!

Rover, I just read your post and am so sorry for your disappointment.  I'll be praying that your son makes a speedy recovery and can go through battle stations soon, that he does well, and that you get to catch that flight to Chicago to see your boy!  Hang in there...

It is a very hard thing for those of you that won't be going to PIR.   My daughter was scheduled to go through PIR last Friday, and instead ended up in FIT where she still is.  I have faith that she will make it through, and those of you whose SRs are not going to be there tomorrow remember that you are not alone.

MomK, glad you made it! :D  We are about an hour away from Waukegan.  This final 50 miles almost seems to be taking longer than the previous 2,000!  Sooooo close.  YAY!!

ROVER, ACESMOM, AND CREATIVE: please know that you have my prayers for speedy recoveries and good run times.  Please keep us posted as your SR's heal and improve run times and post when they become Sailor's.  God be with you and your SR's.
