Good Morning, and I fully agree with you Ochaos. Our SR's had to grow up sooner or later and the Navy will do a fine job helping them where I've been at it for 19 years and I couldn't even get mine to pick up after himself or make his bed and he learned both in this short time. Way to go Navy! Hey, only 20 more days and this time in the morning it will be in the teens. Hang in there, we'll make it.

Diannep, I will post the question on Nuke Moms main board.  Thanks for the suggestion. :-)

Thanks Diannep, There is still plenty of time to get ribbons for this group. Like Diannep said I am taking all my supplies with me and I will be making ribbons and shipping them throughout my vacation. I even have my parents checking my mail so that I know when payments some in so I can mail the ribbons. YOu can send payments in the mail and I also take PayPal. I will be checking this site over the next couple of days with my cell phone and I am taking my laptop and will be back on with it on Saturday night. You can send me a friend request on this site and I will send you the info. A lot of people, including me, have a problem with email on this site so it may be better to send me a regular email. My email address is: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com I look forward to making ribbons for everyone. Some for this group have already been shipped, more being shipped tomorrow and more next week. Thanks everyone :-) Lala

CorysNavyMom: Lala is leaving town tomorrow but said that she will be checking the boards and mailing out ribbons while on her trip.  SO please friend her or post on her page.  There is also another email address I believe she has on her page that you can contact.  She makes beautiful ribbons!

clardedu i was told on the gl A school that not to be in a hurry getting my son his civis or laptop cause the only thing he will be allowed to keep is his cell they will take all his other stuff and lock away til they earn it so if i were you i would pass his cell to him then take your time getting him his other stuff im sure all schools are similar

clarkedu:  The NUKE Mom group is active right now.  Did you post your question on their main board rather than in the discussion groups?  I would try it again--post on the main board.  I just checked the page and they have a few pages where they have "chatted" today.

Comment by diannep on July 14, 2011 at 9:23pm

Usually they are told BattleStations dates about 3 weeks before PIR. Be asking --then post---so we can get the schedule up top in the discussion group!  For those who have not read the description of Battlestations, please read the link in the discussion group up top.
