Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 303 and 304

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

What is sarge meet & greet. Have seen mention of it several times but don't really know what that is. I'm guessing it is something that happens at PIR? Where is the info abt it? Is it for entire training groups or just by ship or division? Sounds intriguing ...
Sarges meet and greet is the Thursday evening before PIR. They serve buffet style dinner and then give out loads of of info regarding PIR. No charge, but donations are welcome. You maybe able to use the search bar to get more info. Also a great way to connect with other families with SR's from the same division. I have heard really great things about Sarge. He also has a shuttle service for PIR.

If you look to the right on this page you will see a column named "Events" at the bottom of the column there is a "view all" link, click that link and go to the second page. There is a clickable link for Sarges Meet and Greet on the 16th.

PIR 08/16/2013 SARGE'S MEET AND GREET

Hi all, my son is div 303 also. I was hoping my husband/his dad would be able to come with me to PIR, but looks like I might be on my own. So, would be great to get know some of you before then. =) I'll be flying out of Seattle.

I will be there! We are flying out of Reno. You?

Flying out of SeaTac. I plan on being at Sarge's meet and greet, too!

We missed you at Sarge's. We will save you a seat with us up in the balcony. Call me at 210-268-9051
By the way my son did tell me today would be week 1 day 5 for anyone who is following along!
Jeff's Mom: hopefully we can meet at Sarges!

That would be great! My mom decided she is going to come with me. =D That will be nice! I'm Tracy, btw. Let's try and stay in touch here. It'll be nice to meet someone who is going through this. I swear my emotions have been way more surface level lately. I cry at stupid things and get really upset when someone thinks BC isn't a big deal. Like it's my responsibility to change their mind. Geeez. I just really miss my kid. (who's obviously not a kid anymore...he's 20 - he could take care of me at this point LOL!) Anyway, looking forward to getting back to my old self and be a little more happy go lucky again! How are you holding up?

Tracy: good to meet you! I am holding up pretty well. My son turned 22 on the 29th and thankfully they had a call home that day! I know what you men when people brush off BC and PIR. Someone told me "don't worry about it" in regard to making it to PIR. (Some work issues). I could not believe they said it to me! Are you kidding, I would not miss it for anything! Where do you live? We are in Reno.
