...I meant to say....iffy for them to receive LETTERS mailed now....they still receive mail next week though for letters already in the mail.

Shell:  It would be real 'iffy" for them to receive mail now.  But if you would like to try, make copies of those letters and take with you to PIR just in case the originals do not arrive.  They are supposedly forwarded to A School, but sometimes they don't arrive.

PeruvianMom:  It should be over by now.  RTC FB no longer reports Captains Cup results on the weekends (usually), so you will have to wait until next week to find out the winners, unless someone gets to call home!

Hang in there, giasams!  You have a good friend to type for you.

I just heard that they had an 11 yr old killed in NewportNews VA (where my sailor is) when a tree fell into an apt building.  So sad...

When I talked to my son on Wednesday he said it takes at least a week for him to get my mail, so not to send anymore, also.

Typing for Gia my bff. She is reporting to me from her cell phone that the power is now out so she can no longer go online. Will update as necessary through me. Lots and lots of wind and rain but nothing too serious.

Kimberly~ Ahhh... (about 11/283 guys that didn't go to battlestations)

This is all new to me.

Hey I heard that we should stop sending mail because they won't get it, is this correct? I forgot to ask my husband.
