Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yes Betsy it great to hear him say that he misses me. With the phone call yesterday totally unexpected...that is why I carry my phone with me "everywhere" he sounded so serious and up beat.. He has great confidence they will do good..and his type personality, he will look out for his brother and sisters on board..Hooyah! Hope I get to meet you all at the Meet N Greet..

Count down..getting so excited..In my prayers, I know they will "all" do good. They have worked real hard all these weeks and this is their last horrah..They will come together as Big brother and sisters to be called "Sailor"...Keep your phones handy..here on out...Hope to meet you all at Meet n Greet...will be exciting.

Got a call today from my son ship11 Div281..OMG..sounded so good. He is fired up for next week. Gonna be a challenging week for them but he said they are all ready.."it is show time mom"..said they are all ready to see our families..Said he misses me and his sister..wow..lol..We can't wait to hear him tell me he is a Sailor! Hooyah!!

Yay fireteamleaderwife!  So happy you got to reconnect with your husband these last few weeks.  Congrats on the 31 years of marriage, my husband and I are just 10 years behind you.  I'm so glad to see sucess on that front.  I've heard so many stories on how military life wreaks havoc on marriages.  I've been drumming it into my childrens' and nieces' and nephews' heads the importance of choosing wisely.
