diannep-why can't battlestation dates be posted? It makes no sense to me. It is not opsec...they are in bootcamp.
I saww a message in US Recruit Training Command on Facebook that all the Grad Sept 1 that are fliying to A school they will be trying to fly them on Friday after Grad day. I hope that they send them on Saturday because is a Holiday weekend :(
I copy and paste the note below
~"After scrolling through all the good nights and good mornings we found a question concerning what day Sailors fly out to A School after the graduation on Thursday, September 1. For Sailors graduationg on Sept. 1 who are flying to A School, we will try and fly them all out on Friday, Sept. 2. "
well i will be grateful just to see him at PIR and spending the rest of the day with him on TH
Please don't stress about getting your SR to answer all your questions! You'll be able to talk to him when he calls to tell you "he's a Sailor". You'll have about an hour...unless he has to call other people. (i.e., mine had to call her Dad, boyfriend, so when she called, she was real quick and said "Mom, we have business to cover). I was like okay than...it was all about what she wanted me to bring up to her! We did go over to where she will be standing...
You can bring up personal items and they can be handed off to them if they are staying up at the GL for A school. They can only take it back on base in a black bag. She bought a black duffel bag after graduation at the NEX and we took it back to our hotel room, put her computer in it, blow dryer, straightener...clothes...contacts...as far as wearing the clothes, she has to wait a certain period of time to be able to wear the out in public...I think it's two weeks....
Anyway...enough of that. If anyone wants to know more about that type of thing message me privately. I can always ask her if I don't know your question.
