Wishing safe travels to everyone today!  What a journey this has been so far.  Looking at this website everyday (and several times each day) has made the weeks go much faster, and easier.  Thanks to all who have contributed to my sanity over the last 8 weeks!!  I wish you and your Sailors all the best as the next part of their Navy journeys continue.

Awwww, ladies....thanks so much for those kind words!  I truly love doing this.

I am excited for what you will experience tomorrow.  It truly is a lifetime experience.  One of the best!  As proud as you have been in the past of your sailor, you will feel extra special pride for them as you watch them march in...I couldn't even spot mine the entire time,  but I STILL cried and felt such pride for what he had accomplished and for our country and its wonderful Navy!  I will be thinking of all in the morning!

Ladies, DiverMom will be adding ALUMNI to the title of this group after PIR is over so please stay on here and support one another as you start your next ventures with your sailors.  Although you will be joining other groups, there is just nothing quite like your PIR group...such special friendships and feelings shared...it is neat to re-visit it and even to look back at the beginning of that journey in the posts...when emotions were so raw when your SR left for bc.  You will see how far you have really come by doing that!

Bravo Zulu to each and every one of your new sailors!  So proud of them!  HOOYAH!
