Isn't there more than one division to win? One all male, and one intergrated male/female?

FTLW and Angie- Thanks for the info! I was worried that he wouldn't get to start A school before the clearance was finished. I can't imagine there being any problems, I just thought they would talk to us. I have no idea how long the wait is at Corry Station, but glad to know he might still get to start next week. :)

Hi ladies! I am wondering if anyone has heard about the Captains Cup yesterday?
Comment by FireTeamLeaderWife aka FTLW on September 2, 2012 at 2:49pm

Barb - My son had to have a security clearance done. He did call home for two more contacts. But I don't think all have to call home. They may have had enough contacts from your son...OR he may still have to get more...it is possible to be contacted while he is in "A" school. Like Angie said, they did complete his backround check before A school was done.

I was never contacted personally for an interview...but I was contacted.  Sometimes they go to the Family...sometimes they don't. They did interview all of the people my son gave as references...then what they do is ask those people for more names...they dig deep. (rightly so :-) ) One of my other sons friends was interviewed...my Sailor never hung around with him at all! But, he "knows" the family...and his name was obviously given out by someone else.

Check with the Cryptology group mommas and Craig as far as if you want to know more of "what happens". :-)
