Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

@sharbear Yes patience for sure! I have received many letters At least 1 or 2 a week. So I feel blessed there. A couple weeks ago my son got to have a 1 hour phone call and I was out of the country on vacation. :( The older siblings didn't know the number so they didn't answer it. Once I heard that I felt so bad i cried about that too. I hope you get a phone call soon!

Maybe a phone call would have helped....just sayin.....lol. I know it can still come but when you wait at week 3 and it doesn't come you just learn to not expect anything when it comes to this process. I learned that from the form letter I got later than everyone else. I am sure learning patience :)

sharbear, I love reading all of these post as well. It really helps. I am just not used to this. I like being able to talk to my kids weekly and now I can't talk to my youngest and its so hard! After reading many post I know all of you feel the same. Only 15 more days!

rmcurtiss, I thought the same thing yesterday when I was emotional and once again I read that this is the time that it starts to happen again because we are so close. I love knowing that I'm normal when it comes to all of this. I literally came online because I was having a down moment and there was the post "listen ladies, you are going to start feeling emotions again........." Love this group <3

15 days and 1 hour and 26 minutes until I can see my son!!!! I have cried all day. Where are all these emotions coming from? I just need to hug my son!
