@ Page,  he's going to Pensicola FL for Aircrew.  But worried because we were always told from the recruiter right after graduation on 9-7, he leaves 1st thing Sat morning for A School.  So booked our flights home on Sat.  But heard some SR's received their info and wont be going to A school for weeks after.  So I'll be so upset if I could have stayed with him for few days.  :(

Morning all, haha! It's 2:50 am here and I just got off work. Equipment broke down so it is an early night...
Was curious to see if anyone is up and around. Just bored (sigh).

15 days and a wake up!!!

Well I'm glad that you posted that because I was a WRECK before he left, so much so I may have needed a little help with some meds....lol.  When he left, I cried but I was doing ok.  I didn't cry with the box nor the first letter.  I was so happy and jumping up and down but no tears. THEN today, crying.  I write my son everyday and today I was pressured to get out a letter because I just cant miss a day to send him one and I just had nothing to write so the letter was very short.  I felt guilty.  I miss him so much and usually I can control the emotions but today it just hit me again.  I have to thank you again because once I feel like I'm going crazy, you let me know it's perfectly normal.  We can send group messages right?  My son made it sound so cool to find the moms of SRs he knows but he doesn't realize we can't post the names and I sure would like to see if the mom is here that he mentioned.   Thanks again....I'm not crazy...well not because of this....lol  :)

Tinker, you are not alone.  You are among many empty nesters and we are all here to help you through BC and also we are proof that you will be just fine.  :)

momof2boys, been there and doing that my self. I'm not sure if I care for this empty nest but I am sure proud of these young men and women. I finally made reservations for my flight, room and rental car. I was a little nervous about my son passing the run test, he improved last time and I feel in my heart he'll make it this time. The only thing I can think of him running is his computers and robotics. Lol. I want to thank all you moms on your questions and comments, I've learned so much from all of you. 16 days til we see our babies' I can hardly wait to hug my young man. Navy moms rock!
