Here are some highlights that my son told me from our phonecall.  He said that he got emotional when they played Proud to be American and took their recruit caps and gave them the Navy caps, I can barely type it w/out being emotional. He gave me the names of the people in his group today but none of the names seem familiar except Questioning's Sr. The only person he gave me with two initials was R.M., a name that sounds very italian and one that sounds like a "beep" from a car....lol.  I don't think any of you are here tho so i don't know why i'm playing the guessing game.  He is also friends with someone from Wisconsin that I haven't met yet that is from Livingston.  I hear a common thread that they sounded exhausted.  I wish I could have met more from his division but he gave me names from before and maybe they weren't all in 288, maybe 287, I assumed his friends would be in his division but I'm learning I don't know alot and thanks to Happy Feet for always keeping me informed.  This group is amazing!  I'm still on cloud 9.  I've called everyone, pasted it everywhere I could. I can't say it enough,    Sleep well Sailors, you deserve it for all your hard work.  :)

Beth, I'm leaving from Milwaukee at 5:30 so I won't be there at start either but I've been reading how some are coming late so I think we are ok.  :)  At least I hope we are.

Congratulations to all the new "SAILORS" and thank you moms!

Couple of questions: Sarge's meet & greet: is it okay if we turn up a little late? We're coming from Indiana and probably can't make the 5:30 start. And second: does Chicago metra train run from Great Lakes to O'Hare? My nuke son will be leaving for A school in Goose Creek SC. Thanks! And congrats to all the new sailors and sailor Moms!

4 camps, he mentioned your son. Knew he was from Wisconsin and said there was one more.
