It's probably early, but I'm anxious to book our hotel for PIR. We are planning on arriving on Wednesday and staying thru Sunday. I haven't started much research but have been reading other posts. Have any of you made decisions regarding this yet?

I booked at the Navy Lodge for 9/12 to 9/15 just to reserve space.  I want to be close to the base.  I need to make flight arrangements but afraid to do so until I receive the form letter.   Julie.

I've been thinking the Navy Lodge. Is it actually on base? Was wondering if my SR would want to get "off base". Probably won't matter as long as I have her phone with me! lol. Fortunately we are able to fly for free, but we have to fly space available so we are planning on going Wednesday to be safe, but won't be able to judge until we're closer to the day. May have to go even earlier. So, you're a "Julie" too! I see your SR is in a performing div. Any idea what?  the other Julie

Now that picture is even more fun!  Yes I am a "Julie" too.  My son does not have any training in an instrument or singing.  He took a drum class for about a week and had to drop the class.  He can sing but only the shower knows that.  He has martial arts background and can dance pretty good.  So I do not know how they chose him for Div. 944.  I guess I have to wait for him to write to discover how that happened.  Maybe he will be behind the scene?

LOL it will be fun to find out! So anxious to talk to her! It's kind of funny, reading the posts of the "new" mom's on the Boot Camp group. I feel like I don't have a clue as to what's really happening, but reading their posts makes me feel like a vet mom! lol was it just a week ago that we were asking the same questions? Seems like years...

Hi. Djmom, what does div. 944. Mean? Mine is in 294

Hi I booked the Navy Lodge too from the 13th to the 17th for the same reason did not it to book up.  I hope to get my letter today.  Another mom on here her son is in the same Div292 and she got her letter so I am pretty sure, but still nervous to book flight with out my letter.  Hopefully it will come today!

I'm booking something today.  We can always change it if we have to.

That's kind of what I was thinking as well! Looking at the Ramada.

Ended up booking Navy Lodge and Ramada. Ramada was only 7 bucks more a night. I'll let hubby decide.

I was thinking Sarge's as well. We'll be flying United. Always-will you fly out of Tucson or Phoenix? If Phoenix, you're welcome to leave your car at our house to save $ on parking.

My dad was a pilot for United so we have family passes, which is wonderful, but we have to fly space available so that has me nervous! That's why we'll fly in on Wednesday. Serious about the parking. As we get closer you can let me know. Maybe we can do a half way meet for lunch or something sometime. Is there anywhere to stop between here and there? I've never had to before, so can't think of anything lol

Always a Mom...so happy for you... you must be walking on cloud 9....

I am planning on the Sarge meet and greet...

Southwest last week had much lower prices...Wed's are always a better bet for good deals...of course they can pop up any time..
