N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

tibbittsb:  5.0 is the highest score they can make, so that is excellent!  So glad he passed the run with the shin splints....he will have the final one to pass which is the important one, but by then, he should be much more healed so no issues!

Southwest Airlines special fares must be booked by this Thurs.  Big savings so check out their flights into Milwaukee (45 min to GL) and Chicago-Midway (hour+ to GL)---see if their special one-way fares apply.  Remember, no change fee charged, 2 bags check for free, if you have to cancel for any reason, ticket is good for a year.

What a great day!!  My SR called an hour ago (Div 355).  He told me everyone did well on the last two inspections and 2nd PFA so the RDA let them make phone calls.  He told me he got two 5.0's (I have no idea what that means) and passed his PFA (especially the run with shin splints)... I can stop worrying about those blasted shin splints he has!!  He sounded so terrific that it did my heart some major good!!  I will be forever thankful to all of the SR's in 355 as they are earning phone calls.....and I cannot express how grateful I am to his RDA for understanding the importance of support from and to family and friends.

Good morning everyone, I hope you all are having a good weekend. We are pressure washing the house and decks and cleaning out the gutters. Oh the joys of not being rich enough to hire someone lol. I am too old for this :)

I bet that is what happened, proudmoas.  Sometimes they let them make up a call if they have watch, but they can't always do that.  Hoping you will hear from him soon!

Thanks for posting that ms deedee it feels good to know that they did well on inspection. I didn't hear from my SR. Maybe he was on watch.

MsDeeDee:  Those "earned" calls are wonderful!  Congrats to 354 in their perfect score...and therefore, phone calls!

Good Morning All !
