~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Can I mention last names only & division # of SR's without breaking any OPSEC rules? My SR has asked me to look for a few families of guys he has become really close to during BC.
Happy Friday!!
"Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the One who sustains me."

My son called yesterday at about 5pm his time. He completed Battlestations, and did his Capping Ceremony and was very tired, yet excited. Group was headed to Taco Bell for their first "junk food". Earned all their "flags". Very proud of all the men! Bursting with pride, looking forward to seeing him.
Good Morning!
I believe that the BattleStations date for 359/360 will remain the same. The night they are going has been the night that the last divisions in a PIR group have been going through each week for a long time now. Never say "never" in the Navy... :-) .... so I can't say 100 percent, but that night is really the only night they can go looking at the schedule.
Looking for I'm a Sailor calls this afternoon from 353/354!
Thanks, Jae~~ :D
Those SRs asmoed for failing the final PFA still have more chances to pass before PIR....so prayers that they get it done! They can even do BattleStations the night before PIR if need be, once they pass it.
Got it! Thanks, Michelle!
No worries at this point if someone didn't make it through BS, there will be more chances for them before PIR. Some don't pass the first time, usually because they fall asleep believe it or not, but I haven't heard of anyone not passing the second time.
MarGlenn, Usually the orders state that they must report to _____ by _____, and then report to their new base and wait. I am guessing that your sailor will remain at the RTC for the week in the THU. If he calls again ask him if he has confirmation that he is staying in GL, if he is, find out if he will have liberty all weekend.
