~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

My SR (my nephew) is in Ship 11 Div 365 and PIR is on 9/27/2013. I am so excited to mail my 4 letters I have ready for him!
LedaB: We are waiting for RTC to post the division numbers in this PIR group. At that time, we will know the number of guests per sailor....3 or 4. For PIR groups 12 divisions and less...it is 4. For 13 divisions and higher, it is 3. Pray for 12 or less! Hoping that early next week, they will post it. Then ellen will add it to the title of this page.
Good Morning Navy Family! 47 days to go!!
When I spoke with my SR yesterday he said he wasn't sure how many tix they will get b/c there's something like 1000 graduating. Now I don't know how many graduate at a time so I just said Ok Buddy.....lol
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!
Yes, I agree with Lala. When my son was at Bootcamp, he missed a division call when he had watch. He was allowed to call after "watch". That is not a guarantee, but it can happen!
Hoping that ellen is correct and that you all will have 12 divisions are less in this group, which would mean 4 guests per sailor! Fingers crossed! Hoping that RTC gets the division numbers posted by tomorrow or the next day.
Good Morning all!
Good morning everyone. I know you all are super excited about receiving your first call or letter. I am sure it won't be long now. If your SR misses a call when you see others from the same division getting calls try not to worry. It is most likely because they had a watch or duty or was at dental or SIQ from dental work. They usually but not always will get to make up the call. There have also been some recruits who have given up a call that another recruit with a wife and small children at home can have his time especially if it was a call earned for doing something very well. The young men and women who do this amaze me and are sure to make fine Sailors :)
Got my letter 8/9!! Ship 3 Div 367. So Excited, soooooo missing my son.
Nikki56, The RTC still hasn't posted the divisions for this TG, and their post will also include the number of guests. It appears at this point there will be eleven divisions (361-370 and 946) if the ones now posting about their divisions and PIR dates holds true. That would mean 4 guests for this TG.
I am hoping since the next two TG have started that the divisions for this TG will be posted on Monday!
My daughter is Ship11 Div 365
