Nope don't see the clock. well I'll shut down the computer and rebot.  hope that works.  Even LTLY's back of the sailor is gone. ( the new woman's picture).  cross your fingers and pray. here goes nothing.

Never thought I say this, but I miss our clock.  last time it was 92 days.   I was neat to see a reminder about how long (and how short) it has been since BC and this all began.  Sorry to see it go.

gcmb-got a late text Wednesday afternoon. He is flying out Friday morning, few hours layover and then 11 hour flight to Japan. He will be with other Sailors, mostly from his A school, and I would love to be a fly on the wall when they hear Japanese spoken over the speakers. Will be catching up with ship sometime Saturday evening. They will lose most of Friday and Saturday in flight. Don't know when I will hear from him again. I told him when he emails me his ship email address to put "Mom, it's me" in the subject line so I would know it was from him. I talked to him last night. He is excited to get going. I hope your Sailor has a safe trip to Virginia. It will be hard to see him go, but now it is time for his next adventure.

As soon as I hear anything, you all will be the first to know. I told him to sleep on the plane, get up and move around and get some snacks to take on the plane. This trip will probably be a lot like BS21. With the time changes, they will feel like they have been up for 36 hours or more by the time they get there.

Got a text from Sailor a little while ago. He will be flying out of San Diego on Thursday to meet up with his ship. Don't know how many others are going, too. I did chat with him long enough to find out where he is going and that he would call me sometime tomorrow. I am all emotional and going in all directions. I am on the FB page for his ship and the mom's page there, too. I guess now I need to contact an ombudsman so I can get updates. I've been through this deployment thing before with the other half but it has been 18 years. Reenie, any advice is welcome.

Ok, Sailor back at GL. Sniff, Sniff.  house is all quiet again.  Back to work tomorrow. started snowing, hope it doesn't last the night, or travel tomorrow is going to ruff.

Josh's mom:  I just need to purge and clean , without the move.  have a drip in the garage that I need to address in the spring.  there goes the tax rebate.  if I even get one.  just have to decrease exemptions.  cann't claim the Sailor anymore.  Sniff, Sniff again.

Well Kevin is back in GL...we had an awesome two weeks together! Wishing I won that Mega Millions so I could fly to see him every other week!  It has been a tough day with him gone, but I have tried to keep myself busy.

*Ranger (almost 5yrs old)- "Mom, where is Kace?"

*Me- He went back to work for a while."

......10 mins later.....

*Ranger- "Kace, come play Wii with me..."

*Me- "Ranger, he went back to work today, remember?"

*Ranger- "So is he going to be gone for a long time again?"

*Me- "Yeah, but we will get to Skype and talk to him on the phone."

*Ranger- Sigh..."Thats Lame! I wish he didn't have to be gone for so long."

.....about an hour later.....

*Ranger- "So Kace is really not here..."

*Me- "No, he isn't. He is on a plane flying back to work..."

Bless his heart, he just couldn't grasp the idea.

Wishing you all many Blessings in 2011!

I will check back tomorrow to catch up with all the posts!
