Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

LTLY - got it sent you one back. Sorry kind od slackin here... at work and can't concentrate. Sounds like he will have to do the last 2 weeks of bootcamp after he heals, not for sure yet. Hope to know more soon.

Mitchsmom... I am so sorry for your son and for you. You can'tfeel how sad I am for you on post but I am. I am in tears because I know how it would hit me. I will be praying for you in the coming days. May he heal quickly.

His parents are divorced, so of course, one of them loves me, and the other.. uh.. :)

OMG you ladies are hysterical - I keep having to run to the little girl's room while reading your posts. Walmart and caskets too funny! Tiff's Mom ( may I send my husband's ex with yours to a new planet? Thank God a million times over my ex and I are friends. Our divorce was friendly and on very good terms. (maybe because I didn't ask or take anything, my suitcase and son only)
