Yeah he had told me he had shin splints, he's a tuff kid I think he's had the stress fracture for a while and it just finally got to much and he finally said something. Don't know for sure. Won't know anything unles they let him call. Chin up for Tiff, she'll make it.

My SR was in medical like 3 different times and he wouldn't tell me why. I knew one was his wisdom teeth and that was expected, but the others he won't tell me. I hate that. I am so paranoid of him getting hurt, he is a little on the accident prone side, lol. Ugh...the stress is killing me. I need a big ole chocolate cake!!!

Well we will all keep our fingers, toes, legs, and eyes crossed for a speedy recovery. At least they aren't sending him home. That is a good thing. He will heal up and sail on through and get to his PIR. It will all work out ok. Just not as quickly as we had hoped. Keep us posted, he was in my SR's division.

Recruiter says they will probably have him "help out" no marching ect. we were driving out (19 hours) now we will have to do it in the snow. Doesn't sound like we could visit, still bootcamp.

Tried to ask him if they were gonna let him call me later, he said he didn't know. recruiter trying to find out more for me...impatiently waiting....

@mitchsmom- Very sorry to hear that your son is injured. Prayers for him and your family. I know this is disappointing to you, try to hang in there.
