Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

@Jan C, the letter I got on Fri, said the division was working together alot better, but no info on BS or PIR. My son hardly answers any question in his letters. I've sent him a letter awhile ago explaining that I need details, but...

Got another letter today, dated 9.16, 2100. Got sharpshooter with the 9mm! YIPPEE! But on the other hand need prayers-still haven't passed the swim test-WHAT! He's disappointed, but still have opportunites this week to test. Has lost 13lbs, but other than that "doing good" states yesterday was payday(15th), says his shpmate's mom is on this site-sends "crazy questionaires too";)"Loco Navy Moms"

Look everybody, I DID IT!!!! I got a picture, one of my favorite quilts!! I didn't make this quilt but it is very pretty. BTW don't ask how I finally did it because I wouldn't be able to tell you.

For those who have problems downloading the parking pass.....Download Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and see if that helps. Also make sure that you put in the password in ALL CAPS. Nick'sMom: I hope this works for you.
