@reeniegalla - I hear a lot about the size of the ribbons. I guess everyone was expecting some tiny little things. I will have to take some new pics like you said. They are basically about the size of your hand and the ribbon is almost an inch wide. I wanted other people to be able to read the name and div # of the sailors we are all so proud of. I am glad you like them :-}

Awwww I can't wait to see her... I hope she's not too skinny!! She went in at 5'4" and 102-105 lbs... but she said she eats all the time and is trying new foods, I guess cause she's so hungry! LOL I got the letter that says what she does next week and it is shots... pics... firefighting.. gas chamber and then Friday, final PFA test!!

haha, she'll defnitely be a changed person. she'll walk taller, look people in the eye and speak from her heart. and if shes like me, she'll lose 3 inches in her waist haha. =]
and thank you very much, i've heard of divisions that never pull it together and spend more time bickering than sucking it up. i hope this isnt the case for your future sailor, it just makes the time that more difficult. I give all the credit to my RDCs
Comment by Tiff'sMom (Sharon) on September 17, 2010 at 9:51pm
hahahaha on the stupid facts!! I hope she made friends. You sound like you came out strong and very confident!! You're not even my girl and I'm proud of you!! I am hoping she went in shy and quiet and comes out swearing like a sailor and telling naughty jokes!! hahaha just kidding!! but hopefully more assertive than she is now! :)
