Tiffsmom- my daughter's fiance is at the airport in Chicago waiting on the bus to pick him up and take him to the base. Maybe they will get to meet each other.

Just got a letter from my son. He said he was now able to write and read on thursdays and sundays. he did say he has been doing alot of marching, IT, and PT( said it was tough), but that He wants to be a sailor "bad" and he is going to put his heart and soul into it. He also said to 'pray' for him. It was a more upbeat letter then I have gotten, so far. I can't wait for hell week to be over. 23 days to go.

OK.... need prayers for Tiffany's boyfriend. James left for MEPS today and I was to go, but the weather was too bad, luckily his mom and sister drove in from Oklahoma this weekend and were there as well as his dad from here. Well, we've been texting all day, he got to the airport, said he ate (good boy!!) and that the flight was delayed. Now I'm just waiting! LOL I won't get the call (of course, I'm not mom! LOL) but still worried for him, he was more worried and scared these past 4 weeks, just knowing what was coming and getting Tiffany's two letters, she told him stuff and EXACTLY what was happening and going on and what to KNOW,etc.. that helped..... helped make him more nervous! LOL Anyways... prayers for James and I sure wish I knew his mom or dad so I could find out if he made it! LOL
