Geez, another one bite the dust on FC/ET (AECF). Gah, we waited 8 months so he could get that and so many are getting deep sixed into something else. He would tell me I hope. I hope he still got it. It was the reason we waited in DEP as long as we did. He could have and would have gone earlier if we would have known this was a possibility. Ugh. Of course, he had college background in Advanced Electronics already so maybe that allowed him in ahead of others? *crosses fingers, toes, legs and eyes* Our recruiter never mentioned that he could possibly have to switch. *bangs head on desk* Venting, sorry! I'm all kindsa nervous now. Ragnabit!

@PastorMom-congrats on the phone call. It seems like you are one of few who got one.
My SR mentioned that everyone in 946 (and it seems like other div's as well) met with the classifier earlier this week to confirm/change jobs. I am anxiously waiting to hear if my SR's rate changed or not.

Hi everyone,
I got a call today. Yea! I asked him if he was asked to change jobs and he is now ATI not AECF. He said if he didn't change, he would be on hold so long he wouldn't get to advance like he wanted. He will be working on planes on aircraft carriers. His A school will now be in Pensacola not GL. He will still graduate 10/1, seemed better and didn't ask for addresses. Seems like many of them are being asked to change and my son may not have even told me if I hadn't asked. Talk to you later,

My son will be going to Goose Creek as well. He told us a few weeks ago that he would be leaving RTC between 2 and 4 AM the next morning. So we'll have less than 12 hours with him. Honestly I wonder if we should be making this trip or planning one to South Carolina when he can have weekend liberty. So much money.

When I told my son last week that I wanted to know when his BS was, he said that he wouldn't know until about 2 or 3 days before, so he wouldn't know in enough time to let me know. My son is in an 800 division, do the RDCs sometimes not tell their recruits when BS are?
