Good Grief...my hubs is gonna fail the inspection! lol. He is a born slob. Calls it organized chaos. Oh man, he is in for a hell of a rude awakening! My dad was Army, so I grew up being fairly neat. I get piggy with clothes sometimes but the hubs...he takes slob to a whole new level. I can't wait to see him come home and clean the house!!! And than I can white glove it just to get a rise out of him! LOL!! I think he'd chase me outta the house with the broom or mop if I did it, but it would be worth the look on his face!!! Oh yeah, I'm going to hell...at least I will know ppl there! ***had to edit cuz it seems I cannot grammar today, LOL!***

Ladies the Navy Lodge is a hotel OFF base. I have stayed at a Navy Lodge before and had and excellent experience. I will be staying there in GL for PIR and so will my family. We are looking forward to the same great customer service as any other reputable hotel.

Hey, Everyone. As you all probably were notified, LTLY has put the "Navy History Days' up in a discussion group. She is posting what happened each day in Naval history. Very interesting to read so be sure to check it daily!
Thanks for doing this, LTLY! We are never too old to learn!

OK she didn't say how many hits they can get. But it's on appearance, bunk general orders. She got a hit for dirty glasses and it flustered her so bad she messed up her 11th general order. She got another hit for dust under her bunk mat LOL She said she didn't know there was dust under the mattress! LOL

Let me find it in tiffs letter... she got 2 hits, the inspections are on their appearance I think maybe bed too... but she told me how many they can have.. hold on, she wrote like 8 pages in two diff envelopes LOL

How does inspection work? My son said that he has had 2 so far and that he got 1 hit each time. Is that good? Probably has to do with making his bed. lol I guess what I am wondering is how many hits are bad? I know you should aim for none but I would expect some in the beginning. He says that he has not been in trouble and that if you just do what youare told you are fine.

Hi Ladies!!

Jane don't worry, I know it's not your son. When I talked to Tiff thurs, she said that it was kids that were acting up and laughing and making to much noise when they were told to be quiet. She said after they made their calls on Tuesday, they all got yelled at because other kids were too noisey. She also said that if they talk during the time they are eating, they get in trouble.... so I would say this would not be your son! :) :) She also said that they help you if you are struggling with something in particular... she's having to get her run down in time and her crunches and she said they work with her on that.... I would assume the same would be if they need help academically! :)

Well... I might just cancel Navy Lodge and stick with the Comfort Inn... I wish I could afford the Sprinhill Suites.. those were nice but over 100.00 night!

Jane, I think the troublemaker(s) keep running their mouths, won't do what they are supposed to do, just generally won't conform. If everything else is going good for him, the PF part and inspections and so on, I think if he needs extra help, he will probably get it. My son said BC is about "keeping your eyes and ears open and your mouth closed". I am off to my sister-in-laws house for the afternoon, we have quilting stuff to do and I need a break. Everyone have a great afternoon, I'll check back in later.
