reeniegalla, thanks for your help, I will go check out that site. All these kids are a lot braver than I will ever be. Kudos to all of our children and all the moms on here giving all the great support to them. I know my son says any letter from home brings a smile to their faces and gives them encouragement.

sailorjayship: Would it help if some of us Navy Moms wrote him??? Mine has been through A School and is stationed. I would love to write him if you think it would help to share what he has to look forward to. Please just message me his address if you want me to write...I would love to do it!

Hi all, I haven't written on here much (ok - probably once or twice a few weeks ago), but I can tell you gals keep me going. My son is on ship 13 division 324 and they all seem to go through the same feelings and trials with some days being better than others. I told my son that if he thinks he gets excited to get mail from home he should see me when we get a letter from him. I was wondering if anybody knows how they determine what happens on graduation weekend. I have read somewhere that some parents have had their graduate for the whole weekend (including nights) and others have to go back to the ship at night. Do you know if the whole ship has to earn the whole weekend of liberty or do they single out some of the graduates who can have liberty all weekend. This is an awesome sight and everybody has kept me going on some very tough days. Thanks to all.

I should send him the picture I just took of his brother and friend getting a sofa bed out the window. Of course, it got stuck. And to top that off, he took his truck and ran over the lilac bushes, my favorite. pic shows " I can't believe that happened" look.
thanks to everyone for inspirations. I got an idea for tonights letter.

YEAH.... PK!!!! I'm so glad you finally got your call!

Bella... she said that the wait was for two months to get into A school for FC or ET, so, maybe they said do you want something else? I don't know, and maybe they asked your hubby and he said NO... I want what I have and will wait!! I don't now what she is going to do now, wait or get kicked out for not having addresses :( I have addresses now... of course!

I don't think she really cares what job she has, she wanted one job but she failed the depth perception test, so that one is out.

She mailed me three letters today. One a questionnaire, she said she likes those best because she can answer all my questions. So guess I'll do more of those. The other was what she writes each nite, a few sentences each nite. The third was the letter she wrote on Sunday. She said they are all getting a lot of IT and she's tired! LOL She said a lot of the girls argue and that Ship 327 didn't receive mail one day because they messed up who was in charge :( what a mess :(
