Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yeah my hubs didnt have any info on the mypay.com or LES site to get their stubs. But he said he was going to get a hard copy and send it home. I think they have to go through that with them yet in one of the finance classes.

Congrats to those who got calls. I am just a little jealous, since we didn't. And some of you were in 328, so am a little worried, Maybe a letter wll come tomorrow.
Travel agaent sounds good since I am having a hard time makng decisions. Thanks for listening everyone. Sleep well all.

@gcmb...read the WHAT TO BRING TO PIR and start that list! And keep your form letter handy, it has instructions for downloading the parking pass to PIR. We can't do it until 11 days before.

He said that he could fly into Milwaukee for about $250.00. Thanks for the help! he just didn't want to drive 7 hours here to get in with us to drive 12 hours to Chicago. We are driving because my husband refuses to fly! Plus it is to expensive for us!
