Happy Tuesday everyone, Just catching up as I get ready to head out the door for work. I hope more folks get calls today. I was really upset yesterday evening at the troublemakers, but as I lay in bed last night thinking about them my bulb finally flickered. These guys were not forced to join, they asked to be there. So if they are making such a fuss they must be trying to get thrown out, now I feel really bad for them. I pray they adjust quickly. I hope they get the help they need.

Can someone tell me why it is not a good idea to book the hotel/air together. I'm finding it a lot cheaper this way... hmmm I have hotel reservations already made, but haven't bought airline yet and just researching... hmmmm

Anyone under 12 does not need to be on the list JMOM (possibly 13 but I'm saying 12 just to be certain)

Growing Up in Naval Academy territory, Annapolis,Md, the Blue Angels are special to me, too. Every Summer at camp they would fly over doing turns and things. I love them. I love the music. Is ther a way to download this onto ipod?

Woo Hoo, my son is finally a taxpaying son of a gun. I'm thinking about it LTLY, we haven't been in years. I'm kind of busy in September with quilt shows the 9th, 10,and 11th, also the 17th and 18th, and again the 24th and 25th. Even if I don't make it I can always hear them out here when they are practicing. LOVE it when they break the sound barrier. What a rush.

LTLY: Interesting that he was paid TODAY! They usually are paid on the 1st and 15th? Oh well....no complaints that it was a day early!

@Elaine, do you plan to go to the Fort Worth Air Show this year? We had a blast last year and plan on going again!

Also, for anyone needing to know, it appears that my recruit was paid today via direct deposit. God is good, I prayed for this specifically!
Off to take the kiddo to school, the baby to Nana's, and then to the gym!! MUST clean some house today before I am allowed back on the computer, so I will be back this evening!!
Have a great Tuesday!!!

Mornin' all, best night's sleep I've had in 3 weeks last night. I guess hearing SR's voice will do that for you. Great music LTLY. Being former Navy, I am soooooo patriotic to begin with. Have been through all the ceremonial stuff except PIR. Now I get to do it all with my son. Navy Day Ball's, three I think, maybe 4. Spent 1 Memorial Day at The Wall, what a wonderful experience and found the names of husband's friends and my mom's closest friend's son, all KIA in Vietnam. Have seen Tattoo, absolutely everyone needs to see that at least once in their lifetime. Blue Angels so many times I forget how many. Every base stateside, the Blue Angels were there every year. My brother works at Naval Academy as a civilian and for the week before they perform he can go outside at lunch and watch them practice. When I go into Fort Worth and they are flying out of JRB, even if they are just doing touch 'n go's, I yell "Go get 'em, Boys" in the car. I'd forgotten just how much I loved being in the military, even as just a wife. I could tell some stories that would make your hair turn gray. Maybe another time. We have been out for 17 years.
