OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Awesome, LTLY, Those guys in the fleet have way too much time on their hands. But they are so talented, too. Thanks, my stomach flipped with the plane (AWACS) going by.

I GOT MY FIRST CALL @ 5:10PM! I was talking to a patient and my cell phone buzzed, looked at the caller ID and I saw 1-847... and I left my patient sitting in the triage chair as I ran out the room, nearly knocking over doctors in the hall!!!! Answered the phone and heard him say, "Hey Ma!" and I said "Hey Baby!" (That's our special greeting to each other, oh how I miss that) He's doing great, "better than I thought I would." then he started crying, he's happy to hear my voice, now Im crying, telling him how proud I am of him, and to keep praying for strength and guidance, he's halfway there. He tells me he's eating good, tired, "folding alot of stuff and studing all the time". He's tired but glad he's doing well. Can only write on Sundays, don't need Mama to send him anything but continue with the letters and cards. Just so happy to know he's ok, now I can breath, seems I've been holding my breath for 3 wks. Needless to say I've been grinning all evening!!!!!:)

I am wondering if the call center for the new recruits arriving is different than the call center for those allready processed in the first day. It would make sense to have all that in one location and readily available for "new arrivals."

Well each of the phone pedestals had 6 phones on it and I could count about 8 of them in the room, so 48 in one room, if there is another room like it than there would be close to 100. I don't even know why I care, lol. My irrational behavior is irrational by even my standards, lol!
