The length of the I'm a Sailor calls after BStations many times are based on how many divisions go each night. When my son went through, there were only 2 divisions. So we talked an hour. But on nights when 4 divisions go through, the calls are shorter obviously because they have so many more to make the calls.

Welcome back LTLY, we have missed you. I was sure it had to do with the kiddos. Do you know test results on the baby? Even moms with BIG kids have to get them back into a routine. Ever try to get a teenager back on a school schedule? IMPOSSIBLE!!! It is all catching up with him now. 12-14 hours on the computer every day and 8-10 hours of sleep. His letter said 7-8 hours sleep and only if they didn't have to stand 2-4 hour watch. I have been on PIR pages for those graduating this week and next. It gets crazy waiting on the calls after BS21. Some calls are longer than others, I guess it depends on what time they finish and which division they are in. So glad you're back and let us know how the kids are.

Happy Saturday Folks!
I have been away from the computer lately, well sorta...I have been wrapped up with my youngins this past week. My 4yr old started back to pre-school so we had to start a new routine (and get rid of his rash "fifths disease"), and my 4 month old had an EEG (have used the internet to learn more about EEG's and other possible diagnosis)...this took us a whole day to re-coup from and of course threw that new routine out the window.
I did manage to check out the US Navy Recruit Training Facebook Page...I can't wait to see more pics on there!
Now to tame this house!!! And catch up on the posts!!!

Also got letters from my husband...said he irons for one guy and that guy shines his boots for him! He also said they get a bit more time to conversate than we would think.

LOVE the "dog talk" on here...Dog lover myself! Even to the point of marrying a vet student! Loved being married to my vet husband...miss him alot now. :-(
Just me and my pups in the house with both sons on their own now. They are my pride and joy (the DOGS, that is! HA! Well, sons too!)

Hope all have a good day! Be sure you have made your hotel reservations. Hotels tend to fill up. Ask about Navy PIR discounts.
